ATC International was again awarded by the Miami Dade County School Board a renewal for continued installation of School Security and Surveillance systems through 2010.

June 1 2008

ATC International announced today the agreement to assume the Communications Responsibility for several new Office Complexes in Miami Florida.

.-> Wireless Mesh
Wireless Mesh Systems provide for reasonably open access between transmissions devices to create an extended network for access to the wireless internet access, VOIP, or CCTV systems by transmitting signals from one device to another without line of sight, which is the method for most transmission of wireless signals.  The Mesh Infrastructure is designed for indirect communications, where line of sight is impractical. For example, the various locations of wireless computers, nodes act as repeaters to transmit data from nodes to peers, resulting in a network that can span large distances.
.-> Radio Frequency Identification
Radio Frequency Identification is a technology which provides for communications between devices via radio frequency, which can be used for a variety of tasks ranging from Access Control, Asset Management and Tracking, Vehicle Control and Tracking within large compounds, Inventory control, Library and Document Management.  It functions by the use of RFID and Readers strategically located within the locations to identify the movement.  It can be integrated into an access system providing short and long range read capability for multi tasking.
.-> Campus Wide
Campus Wide Mesh and wired networks are used by education facilities to provide campus wide Wireless Internet, wired network and Video surveillance for campus facilities and grounds. This provides access to the network systems for the students and staff to more efficiently transfer data and communications. Wired facilities provide for communications links within the buildings to the network facilities, as well as the wireless communications.
.-> Automation
Automation creates a technological solution for the control and enhancement of any business or residential environment. This allows for the control and management of each facility or residence for room temperature, lighting, security, electronics, blinds, or building amenities such as vehicle valet call up, spa reservations, or tennis court reservations, can all be done from a single touch screen; automation simply facilitates your life and manage environmental controls. .
.-> Fiber Optics Networks
Fiber Optics Networks provide for the infrastructure within large facilities or locations that will provide communications links for systems to function, such as security systems, video systems, computer systems; they can also be linked to local area networks, or wide area networks to provide for high speed connectivity for the transmission of data or video.  With the use of either single or multi-mode fiber optics the distances can be reasonably short or long.  Typically single mode fiber is used for long distance transmission of voice, video or data
.-> Structured Cabling
Structured cabling provides for the infrastructure within a business or residence to include voice and data communications, fiber optics and coaxial connectivity within the facilities. These are required to provide cable television, data, voice and telephone communications. In addition, it provides the infrastructure to manage most low voltage systems and technologies, if designed into the various projects and facilities.
